Community leadership isn’t about flexing — it’s about operational excellence, social responsibility, and not making everything about yourself. If you create or manage a group on QNAPANDIT, these are the non-negotiables.
1. Mission Alignment
Group Owners & Community Leaders must align with QNAPANDIT’s core values:
- Respect
- Curiosity
- Quality
- Integrity
Your group isn’t a random chat room; it’s a micro-community that reflects the platform’s brand. Protect it like it’s grandma’s reputation.
2. Leadership Responsibilities
You commit to:
✔ Set a constructive tone
✔ Encourage meaningful participation
✔ De-escalate conflicts when needed
✔ Enforce rules without favouritism
✔ Promote accurate info (not sensationalism)
Translation: you’re the adult in the room — act like it.
3. Rule Enforcement Protocol
You must enforce:
- Platform-wide Community Guidelines
- Group-specific rules (if you set them)
- Legal compliance standards
Failure to enforce = moderation intervention + possible leadership removal.
Golden rule: Fair, consistent, transparent.
4. Respect & Civility Standards
Leaders must model good behaviour:
✔ No harassment
✔ No slurs
✔ No personal attacks
✔ No discrimination
✔ No trolling your own members
Your tone becomes the group’s culture. Keep it classy.
5. Zero Abuse of Power
The badge does not make you a monarch.
Prohibited behaviours:
❌ Arbitrary bans/kicks
❌ Deleting comments because of ego
❌ Favouring friends or clients
❌ Threatening members
❌ Exploiting authority for personal gain
Authority = responsibility, not leverage.
6. Content & Accuracy
If your group focuses on specialised knowledge (health, finance, law, etc.) you must:
- Discourage unverified claims
- Promote sourcing & citations
- Tag misinformation for correction
- Encourage professional disclaimers where appropriate
We don’t want someone getting medical advice from “CryptoKing420” and ending up in the ER.
7. Promotions & Advertising Rules
Leaders may not:
❌ Sell access through backchannels
❌ Funnel members to off-platform groups
❌ Push affiliate or brand content without disclosure
❌ Allow spam or marketing invasions
If your group involves commercial activity, you must comply with:
➡ Advertiser/Publisher Policy
➡ Affiliate Disclosure Standards
➡ Sponsorship Transparency Rules
Transparency = trust capital.
8. Data Privacy & Member Safety
Group leaders must not:
❌ Harvest member data
❌ Demand private contact details
❌ Share screenshots or chats externally
❌ Expose minors or vulnerable users
Protect member confidentiality like it’s classified intel.
9. Handling Conflicts & Reports
Conflict is inevitable — chaos is optional.
Leaders should:
✔ Hear both sides
✔ Avoid emotional escalation
✔ Document incidents if necessary
✔ Escalate to platform moderation for serious issues
If you need help, email: support@qnapandit.com
Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
10. Content Moderation & Cleanup
You’re expected to remove content that is:
- Illegal
- Hateful
- Scammy
- Off-topic spam
- Dangerous or misleading
- Calculated to instigate harm
If it hurts community safety or quality, it’s gone.
11. AI Usage & Assistance
AI tools are allowed, but:
- Leaders must verify AI outputs
- Leaders must not present AI content as expertise
- Leaders must correct hallucinations or errors
AI enhances leadership, not replaces judgment.
12. Minor Protection & Sensitive Groups
Groups that include minors or vulnerable categories must avoid content related to:
❌ Sexual themes
❌ Self-harm
❌ Abuse glorification
❌ Substance promotion
❌ Exploitation
Failure triggers immediate moderation.
13. Collaboration with Platform Moderators
Leaders must cooperate with moderation teams during:
- Investigations
- Safety escalations
- Policy clarifications
- Disciplinary actions
Stonewalling or obstructing moderation = instant leadership revocation.
14. Removal, Suspension & Consequences
Leadership privileges may be revoked if:
- Rules are repeatedly ignored
- Abuse of authority is confirmed
- Safety incidents occur
- Legal issues arise
- Platform values are violated
Actions may include:
- Warning
- Temporary privilege suspension
- Permanent removal
- Group dissolution
- Account sanctions (if warranted)
Leadership is rented, not owned.
15. Appeals Process
If you believe an action was incorrect, you may appeal via:
Professional appeals get better results than tantrums.
16. Continuous Improvement
Community dynamics evolve. Leaders are expected to:
- Stay informed on policy updates
- Learn moderation best practices
- Adjust group rules as needed
Complacency kills communities — evolution sustains them.
17. Updates to This Code
We may update these rules based on:
- Law changes
- Safety requirements
- Platform enhancements
- User feedback
Updates become effective upon posting.
